Superdivajewellery Social Responsibility Policy and Ethical Code of Business 

Here at Superdivajewellery we produce a small collection of units to reduce waste. We aim to be carbon neutral by 2030 by working closely with our team by making changes and collating feedback from our customers. We encourage other brands to do the same this will have a huge impact on the environment and our brand. 

 Sustainability is important to our brand  we encourage a fair and transparent supply chain and ensure our manufacturers and suppliers do not have any forced child labour, please see below detail our code of ethics. 

Superdivajewellery’s sustainable and ethical guarantees:,

Employment:

All staff are paid a living wage; no child labour or human trafficking is involved the production of the collection; the factory is compliant with all local environmental regulations.

Employment is Freely Chosen 

Base code 1

  • There are no forced staff are voluntary staff members 

  • Staff members are not required to send any monetary value or their identity and are free to leave the business after their notice period. 

Freedom of Association (Employees Rights) 

Base code 2 

  • All employees have the right to join a trade union of their own choice and go into a bargain collective. 

  • This does not effect any works rights with their development while working for the organisation.

Employment and Working Hours 

Regular Employment 

  • All Superdivajewellery staff have a signed contract which includes there contracted hours

  • There are no forced staff are voluntary staff members 

  • All team members sign a contract including temporary seasonal staff over the holiday season which mainly falls over the Christmas period. 

Base Code 4 

Working Hours Are Not Excessive 

  • All team members can not exceed more than 38 hour in one working week

  • All team members receive there working sheets of hours in advanced and at times are provided with there hours in 4-6 weeks this is provided by email and has to be signed so each team members has agreed there hours.

  • The Government Base Code is very clear that 38 hours can not be exceeded over the seasonal working period.  

Base code 5 

Working Conditions Are Safe and Hygienic

  • Working conditions are safe and hygienic. Superdivajewellery operates in an environment that all products are packed and packaged individually. Each product is carefully labelled with care which includes all accessory items being touched, all health and safety protocols are followed.

  • All adequate steps are followed with each item carefully picked and placed each piece of jewellery is brand new there are preventative measures in place to avoid accidents. In addition there are Health and Safety measures in Place including Risk Assessments measures in our workplace. 

  • Accommodation is clean and meets the requirements of our working environment.

  • Superdivajewellery will take full responsibility of the working space provided.

  • Access to water facilities and bathrooms are available for all staff members. 

Base code 6 

Child Labour will not be used

Superdivajewellery will not employ anyone under the age of 16 years of age.

  • All documentation of employment is checked prior to employment. 

  • There will be no recruitment of child  labour 

  • We will contribute to programmes which provides a wider understanding and contribution of any child to to be found to be performing child labour. 

  • We will support programmes that support Save your children.

 No Discrimination

  • We have an inclusive Hiring program 

  • There is no discrimination in our hiring process

  • Clear recruitment process from CV screening, interviewing accessible training, and development program.

  • Inclusive means everyone, no age limit, no boundaries, race, religion, disability, gender, martial status. 

  • All applicants will receive feedback within (3-5days from interview)

C111 (Employment and Occupation) Convention 1958 

This Convention calls for a national policy to eliminate discrimination in access to employment, training and working conditions, on grounds of :race, colour, sex, religion, political opinion, national extraction or social origin, and to promote equality of opportunity and treatment.

Products

  • We will never sell a product made from fur, animal or chemicals that can not be used 

  • All products are hypoallergenic free

  • All precasts are stainless 

Chemical Compliance 10

Preferred Animal Material

No parabens, sulfates, petroleum, mineral oil, phthalates, micro-plastics or synthetic fragrances are used in any of the products in this collection. All materials are gold or silver plated. 

Cruelty Free

The products and constituent ingredients in this collection are not tested on animals
